LOMA is American Clay’s original smooth finish, and is always your base coat. LOMA can create subtle matte striations of color as well as heavily textured depth and complexity. Loma is a highly versatile and adaptable finish well-suited for a wide variety of styles.

Made from a variety of clays, aggregate, mineral pigments and a non-toxic mold inhibitor. Mica chips, shredded straw, recycled colored glass and other additives are also available to enhance the surface of our Loma plaster.

Recommended application thickness for two coats: each coat 1/32, for a combined thickness of 1/16 inch.

COVERAGE: One 50-lb. bag will cover 180-220 square feet per coat — depending on the substrate texture.
