We believe our homes can and should be affordable, healthy, earth friendly places where we can flourish.

Our living spaces are a reflection of who we are: how we live, how we relate to each other, our priorities. Over time, though, the built world has become more and more disconnected from the natural environment. At EcoInhabit, we want to re-forge that connection.

We are committed to exploration and innovation, searching out healthy and environmentally responsible materials and progressive building practices. We are motivated by our desire to rejuvenate our built environments so they are truly restorative, purposeful and aesthetically dynamic. And we are delighted to provide new dwelling places which embrace our clients, giving them the opportunity, quite simply, to exhale.

Through the products and information we offer in our store and on-line, through our installations, renovations and whole home construction, it is our hope that we can help you ultimately achieve, step by step, room by room, homes that are chemical free, toxin free, do not off gas, are kid safe and energy efficient. All without sacrificing beauty, quality or durability.

We believe that dramatically reducing our dependence on oil is not a choice but an imperative. We also believe the outcomes will be innovation, renewed social vigour, and endless possibility. Daunting as the task may be for each and every one of us, the results will be life giving.

So at EcoInhabit we are listening, reading, talking, thinking, sharing, doing. We are paying attention to the choices we make and their impact on our families, our communities and the earth. We are trying to take a holistic approach, recognizing that everything is connected. Even though we may only be able to tackle a few things at a time, the ultimate goal is to positively impact the whole, whatever the whole may be.
